Everything You Need to Know About Walt Disney World Buses 

Planning a Walt Disney World vacation comes with lots of excitement — and a few questions, too! One of the most common I hear is: “How do the buses work?” 
Well, good news: Walt Disney World’s bus system is one of the easiest ways to get around the magic, and it’s completely free for all guests! 

Let’s break it down so you can ride like a pro. 

🚌 What Are the Walt Disney World Buses? 

Disney buses are complimentary transportation provided throughout the resort. They connect all Disney resort hotels, theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. If you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, these buses are your main way to get around. 

🗘️ Where Do the Buses Go? 

Here’s a general guide to where you can take a Disney bus: 

• From Disney Resort Hotels: 
  Buses run to all four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom), both water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon when open), and Disney Springs. 

• From Theme Parks: 
  Buses run back to resorts and to other parks after 1 PM, but not directly to Disney Springs. 

• From Disney Springs: 
  Buses run only to resort hotels, not to theme parks. 

⏱️ How Often Do Buses Run? 

Buses generally run about every 20 minutes, though times can vary. 
Each resort has an electronic sign at the bus stop showing estimated arrival times. Early morning buses start running around 6:30–7:00 AM, depending on park hours. 

💡 Tip: If you have an early breakfast reservation, ask the front desk about the “breakfast buses” that run before regular hours! 

📍 Where Do I Catch the Bus? 

Each Disney Resort Hotel has clearly marked bus stops. Some resorts, like Pop Century or Art of Animation, have one central stop, while larger ones like Caribbean Beach or Coronado Springs have multiple internal stops. 

At the parks and Disney Springs, there are bus loops with numbered stops. Signs will show which stop is for your resort. 

🧒 Strollers, Wheelchairs, and ECVs 

Disney buses are very accommodating! Strollers must be folded before boarding. 
Guests in wheelchairs or ECVs can board via a ramp, and the driver will secure them safely inside.
